Mike Tyson Ready for Fight Despite Flight Health Scare

Mike Tyson, the former heavyweight champion, had a medical issue on a flight from Miami to Los Angeles but is still set for his July fight against Jake Paul in Dallas.

During the flight, Mike Tyson needed medical help because of an ulcer flare-up. He felt dizzy and sick just before the plane landed.

His team says he’s now doing fine and thanked the medical professionals who helped him quickly.

According to In Touch Weekly, passengers heard an announcement asking for medical professionals roughly 30 minutes before the plane landed in LA.

Passengers were reportedly delayed from disembarking for 25 minutes after the flight landed so paramedics could attend to Tyson.

“Thankfully Mr Tyson is doing great,” Tyson’s representatives told the New York Post in an email on Monday.

“He became nauseous and dizzy due to an ulcer flare up 30 minutes before landing. He is appreciative of the medical staff that were there to help him.”

They also made it clear that Tyson’s health did not delay the flight. The plane was already late because of an air conditioning problem.

The fight with Jake Paul, who became famous on YouTube before starting boxing, is an official heavyweight match, according to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations.

Tyson has been seriously preparing, even giving up sex and marijuana for the past two-and-a-half weeks, which he talked about on The Damon Elliott Show.

Paul is confident he’ll win and says he will end Tyson’s career in the ring. He mentioned this during a Netflix event promoting their upcoming fight.

Mike Tyson, known for his strong punches and aggressive fighting style, is still a big name in boxing. His last official fight was in 2005, but he continues to draw fans to his matches, including this one against Paul.
